- Member companies are primarily established start-ups or SMEs (EU criteria: <250 employees, <50 million Euro turnover) that have specialised in innovative solutions in the smart grid sector.
- Autonomously operating subsidiaries or spin-offs of larger corporations can also be considered (subject to case by case assessment).
- Market focus in the subject area of Smart Grid / grid digitisation:
- Member companies have their main customer base with distribution grid operators. Alternatively, distribution grid operators are at least relevant stakeholders/partners for the member companies.
- The product portfolio clearly focuses on digital, smart grid solutions for distribution grids.
- The DACH region and/or BeNeLux is a relevant market (company headquarters in the DACH region/BeNeLux or existing, significant market presence).
- Contribution:
- Regular participation in bi-weekly meetings
- Active participation in the organisation of events (webinars, trade fairs)
- Active support with content generation (website, PR)
- Active promotion of the initiative and related activities (company website, media enquiries)
- Company representative must be a relevant decision maker (Executive Board/C level)
- Fair cost sharing for all activities
